Zen Kostersky Sheriff Bell feels guilty for failing to protect Moss and his wife and decides to retire. The identifying theme in this novel is past, present, and future. Bell represents the past because he looks to what people before him have done, Moss represents the present because he only acts in reaction to events, and Chigurh represents the future because he is always one step ahead. If you like books with thought provoking questions, this book will be fun 2mo
